I think that since I had a reaction to the character and he was real enough to irritate me, you can take that as a huge compliment and proof that your writing is very good. If I had just said, "eh, he's kind of a dork," that wouldn't have been such a strong comment on the effectiveness of the story.

Not that I'm any kind of expert. But you can have my opinion anytime. :)

It was weird for a while. I'm sorry I upset you with it. That was not my intention. I never thought you would be mad, I was too worried with you finding the writing is horrible (you can tell me that). Also, I don't think you are too rigid. I just like to tease you. You are you, and I can always count on you to speak your mind - that is hard to find.
